Design PLUS Service
(Residential Applications Only)
Our Design PLUS Service consists of everything that is included with our Basic Design Service with the added benefit of full duct design in accordance with ACCA Manual D. This service includes the following:
- ACCA Manual J peak heating and cooling load calculations
- Heat pump scheduling based on the Manual J loads for the heat pump manufacturer of your choice
- Closed-loop ground heat exchanger (GHEX) design (vertically-bored, horizontally-trenched or horizontally-bored GHEX systems only)
- Interior piping design
- Head loss calculations and associated circulating pump selection
- Full duct design in accordance with ACCA Manual D

We will provide all calculations in a detailed summary report along with any associated drawings. All peak load calculations are performed in accordance with ACCA Manual J, 8th Edition.

The Service Estimator at the top of this page can be used to obtain an estimate of the cost of our services and to help you decide which service option is best for you.
Included in the price for this service is an allowance for one basic change order (for example – looking at a horizontally-trenched slinky ground loop design when the original loopfield design was a vertically-bored GHEX)
For additional change-orders or for extensive change orders, we will charge $150/hour (including phone time).
